Note 1: All students on completion of their first year, will undertake a Community Engagement activity of approximately four months. Under this activity, students will be charged to contribute to their own communities by deploying what they just studied. UTAMU will provide them with cases, projects to work on within their communities in order to improve on the day to day running of the community programs and activities. We envisage that with such engagements, UTAMU will be able to give back and reach out to the communities across different parts of the country.

Note 2: The BA Econ and B.Sc. Econ programmes differ in the approach of instruction. While the BA Econ focuses on approaching the field of economics from the humanistic view resulting into career options such as Bankers, Economic Policy experts, etc., the B.Sc. Econ takes the more scientific, mathematical approach resulting into career options such as Economic Modelers, Financial Analysts, Tax Advisers, etc. Call for application for the first intake for the above programmes is already out and students will start studying on May 10th 2013. The second intake will begin studying on September 10th 2013 while the 3rd will commence on January 10th 2014.
