Job Summary:
SHA is seeking a Venture Pipeline Development Lead to identify and nurture high-potential tech startups. This role is ideal for someone with a venture capital ecosystem background, engineering experience, and startup engagement, ready to support and train emerging tech entrepreneurs. The role bridges technology, innovation, and investment to stimulate growth in the tech startup sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop a tech startup pipeline from tech communities and universities.
- Offer comprehensive startup support.
- Design and deliver innovation and entrepreneurship training.
- Foster university partnerships and connect with VC investors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in the venture capital ecosystem and with startups.
- Engineering background, understanding technology and innovation.
- Skills in stakeholder engagement within tech and investment communities.
- Proficient in communication and training, able to simplify complex topics.
- Experienced in entrepreneurship training program development.
- Knowledge of tech startup challenges and opportunities in Uganda/Africa.
