Yale Young Global Scholars Program for High School Sophomores and Juniors 2018

Yale Young Global Scholars Program (YYGS) is open for high school sophomores and juniors from around the world. In 2018, YYGS plans to offer six summer sessions on Yale’s campus in New Haven as well as a summer session at Yale Center Beijing in China.

Yale Young Global Scholars empowers the next generation of leaders by building a global community and designing interdisciplinary programs that foster intellectual curiosity, deepen understanding and inspire creative action across all borders.

Course Level: This is a two-week leadership program for high school sophomores and juniors.

Study Subject: The two-week session in Beijing will offer interdisciplinary programming focused on “Asia in the 21st Century.”

Scholarship Award: In all YYGS sessions, students attend lectures by Yale faculty, as well as smaller seminars taught by Yale undergraduate and graduate students. Over the course of the two-week program, students also work in capstone project groups to identify a global problem facing the world today, conduct rigorous background research, and propose impactful solutions to their peers and instructors.

Scholarship can be taken in USA and China

Eligibility: This is an excellent opportunity for bright young leaders to explore new and exciting ideas, hone their abilities to think critically and flexible, and engage productively with a diverse group of peers. Students learn invaluable skills that are essential for their educational and career goals.”

Nationality: Students from around the world can apply.

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have previous degree.
