About US:
Crown Beverages Limited was founded and incorporated as Lake Victoria Bottling Company on 29th March 1950. Then, the Uganda government owned the majority shares while a few elite indigenous Ugandans owned the minority shares. In 1965, LVBC became the Pepsi Cola franchise in Uganda and started bottling global soft drinks including; Pepsi, Mirinda, Gingerly among others. In December 1997, CBL went into joint ownership with International Pepsi Cola Bottling Investments, (IPCBI) of South Africa, who bought 51% shares in the CBL and injected in more capital and also had a controlling team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Provincial Governor, the selected candidate will be responsible for;
Territory Strategy Development:
- Understanding his/her market, identifying his/her current customers and developing new ones.
- Increasing sales from existing customers and supervising the sales process by the Contract Distributors.
- Monitoring the activities at the distribution centres in terms of stocking, sales, and purchases.
- Monitoring and reporting on the usage and utilization of the sales equipment
Pricing and Promotions:
- Ensuring clear communication and adherence to pricing and promotions following outlined guidelines to meet the set sales goals.
- Monitoring and providing information on the competition activities in the sales territory.
Market share and Business growth:
- Driving distribution effectiveness by brand pack channel.
- Collecting and providing market feedback on the product brands to the supervisor.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Maintaining a physical presence in the territory to ensure an understanding of customer needs.
- Supporting successful execution of core work (Delivery, Backroom, Merchandising and equipment)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field
- At least three years of relevant experience in an FMCG with at least one year at the supervisory level
- Business Acumen

- Selling and customer service skills
- Communication skills
