Makerere University Management Meeting with Parliamentary Committee on Education and Sports
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. John Ddumba-Ssentamu together with the University Management held a meeting with the Parliamentary Sectoral Committee of Education and Sports in the Council Room, Main Building.
During the interaction,the University Management provided information on: Overall state of the university in terms of Management, standards, courses offered, student lecturer ratio, some of the challenges being faced by the University, threats and opportunities. Of additional interest is the state of physical infrastructure, staffing levels and students welfare.
According to the Chairperson of the Committee, Hon. Nakayenze Connie the information provided by the University Management will inform the discussion at Parliament on the state of higher education and Makerere University.
