Uganda Post Limited (Posta Uganda) is a wholly-owned government company which is the leading provider of a wide range of postal, logistical, IT andfinancial services in Uganda with international links to all major postal administrations worldwide.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The jobholder will also deliver all domestic and international mails to customers in one day.
- Pick and deliver mails and invoices to all UPL contract customers in a timely manner
- Deliver or pick branch mails on a daily basis.
- Check and record both international and domestic mails on a daily basis before leaving office.
- Update delivery information in the system before closure of business.
- Proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle by keeping it clean and serviced in time.
- Tasked with the delivery of upcountry mails to the bus park on a daily basis
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should at least hold an A’ level certificate
- Possess a valid driver’s license with classes A, B, CH and DL.
- Good time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High degree of flexibility
