Philippi Trust Namibia is affiliated to the Association of Christian Counsellors, UK (ACC). Since we started in Namibia it was always important for us in Namibia to adhere to a recognised Code of Ethics. The Ethics and Practice of the ACC provides this protection and guidance for our counsellors.

Philippi Trust Namibia enrolled as a group to SAAP. SAAP aims to associate, affiliate and represent people who are interested in the study of, training in and responsible exercise of pastoral work in Southern Africa.

Philippi Trust Namibia was the first NGO in Namibia to receive accreditation as a training provider from NQA and was at the time, only the fourth training provider in Namibia that applied for and was successful in obtaining accreditation.

Toward the end of 2011, PTN (Philippi Trust Namibia) was granted registration with the NTA as a VET provider which is a milestone for continuous delivery of quality counselling training in the country. The registration fosters an effective and quality assured partnership as far as the delivery of the National counselling qualifications which will soon appear on the NQF.
