Job Summary: The Cleaner will ensure the office and compound spaces are clean and provide a presentable working environment for staff and visitors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Office cleaning (85% of Time):
- Cleans the office building floors and windows by sweeping, mopping and scrubbing accordingly and washes the curtains as required.
- Dusts and wipes office furniture and equipment.
- Cleans office kitchen floors, equipment and utensils.
- Cleans and tidies the office toilets.
- Disposes garbage on daily basis and washes towels, where applicable.
Administrative support (10% of Time):
- Greets visitors coming to the office at reception and escorts them to the appropriate RTP staff.
- Serves refreshments to guests and RTP staff members as required.
- Runs the office generator where applicable.
- Performs administrative tasks such as photocopying.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Right To Play Cleaner must hold a post-primary school certificate.
- Two years of experience similar or directly related work in an office environment.
- Enthusiastic to perform all physical aspects of the cleaning job responsibilities
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to understand and implement hygiene rules
- Languages: Excellent local language and basic knowledge of English
