Job Summary: The jobholder will support the technical director MCH to influence planning, accelerated implementation and quality improvement, maintain technical partnerships, and provide strategic technical support to ensure that evidence is updated, generated, collected and disseminated for effective technical use and policy dialogue..
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in medicine, nursing or applied health sciences.
- A Masters Degree in Public Health is an added advantage
- At least three years experience in similar related projects programs or projects with a focus on maternal and child health programming, QA/QI and provision of technical support.
- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to work with diverse teams across the organization
- Excellent skills required in program design, reporting, documentation, monitoring and evaluation
- Experience in working with external stakeholders with good knowledge of Uganda’s health system and structures
- Must be creative individual with strong sense of vision, commitment and priorities
- Advanced proficiency in computer packages such as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) and communication (written and verbal) skills.
