Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in scheduling grant proposal evaluations, following CRAFT grants cycle
- Support the grants unit in recording minutes for the Investment Advisory Committee evaluation meetings
- Provide day to day support to the country Project teams in the management of the expanded CIIF/MIS system.
- Support and maintain updated filing processes and data bases for the project’s grant’s portfolio. He/she will maintain updated grants files in an organized manner, using CRAFT’s grant file checklist, and uploaded on the SNV SharePoint.
- Maintain an updated CRAFT grants tracker and grants log
- Coordinate and support grant administrative tasks that include timely report reviews, payments, grant award modifications, close out etc.
- In collaboration with the Grants & CIIF Fund Manager, track grantee/SAF expenditures against budgets and deliverables against agreements/ contracts.
- Organize the official grant files for year-end audits.
- Where applicable, assist in ensuring compliance to Donor regulations and award requirements.
- Any other duties within the scope of the responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/commerce
- Intermediate /advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel).
- Ability to act and communicate with a high level of sensitivity as well as analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail.
- Previous experience with grants administration is an added advantage
NB: The internship is originally planned for a period of 6 months from August 2021 to January 31, 2022. Extension is possible for individual cases depending on performance and project need.
