Numa Feeds Limited is a medium, rural-based agribusiness company located which was founded in 1995. It started as a feed processing company and has since graduated to processing of grains for human consumption.

 

Job Summary:  As a Volunteer Quality Controller, you will assist in product development, defining and maintaining quality at all levels; incoming raw materials, outgoing products, returned products, along the production process, within storage facilities and hygiene among the production team in line with Numa Feeds policy, guidelines and other relevant quality standards, Maintaining, enforcing and supervising all plant hygiene and sanitation using the standard GHP’s, any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Bio-chemistry, Agribusiness, or any other related field
  • One year of experience in grain handling or milling in a big and reputable organization.
  • Strong knowledge in store management especially managing stock records
  • Knowledgeable in food safety principles and quality audit
  • Ability to interpret chemical, microbiological and physical results, carry out data analysis.
  • Negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Report writing, presentation and communication skills
  • Must be flexible and assertive
  • Ready to work under pressure and be results oriented
