Logistics Officer Position Open in Lira: Join GOAL’s Dynamic Team

About the Role:
GOAL invites applications for a Logistics Officer to be part of the Young Africa Works Markets for Youth Programme in Lira. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management who have previously worked in the international development aid sector. If you’re ready to contribute to a dynamic International NGO, we’d like to hear from you.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Essential: University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; minimum 3 years’ NGO work experience in logistics; basic supervisory skills.
  • Desirable: CIPS Level 4; highly organized; strong prioritization and communication skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fixed Assets Management: Tagging, monitoring, and managing asset movements and repairs.
  • Stocks & Warehouse Management: Implementing store management procedures, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring cleanliness and security.
  • Premises Management: Overseeing office premises condition, security, and health and safety checks.
  • Procurement/Purchasing Duties: Managing the supply chain, from receiving purchase requests to ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Reporting: Compiling monthly logistics reports and updating the OTS regularly.
