Job Summary:
We are seeking a Finance Supervisor to oversee our portfolio asset quality, ensuring compliance with credit policies and UMRA guidelines. This role is crucial in maintaining a quality loan portfolio and supporting our branches and head office to achieve financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- For Mpewu Micro Finance:
- Safeguard organizational resources and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Set and monitor monthly targets for branches, maintaining a low portfolio at risk rate.
- Monitor client loan performance and assist in reporting on portfolio quality and growth.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting.
- For The School:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with department heads on budget management.
- Oversee debt collection and ensure proper banking and reconciliation of school funds.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- At least one year of experience in accounting, preferably in the microfinance sector.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
