Job Summary:
The Data Analyst role is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to delve into financial data analysis, contributing to the tracking and improvement of the institution’s performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit-loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze performance ratios to assess portfolio quality, efficiency, productivity, financial/risk management, and profitability.
- Interpret reports and make strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with the Finance and Admin Officer to ensure effective data management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A university degree in Statistics, Computer Science, IT, Microfinance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- This is an entry-level position, suitable for recent graduates with no prior experience.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to interpret financial statements and performance reports.
- Competence in using the internet for data gathering from credible sources.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
