Fresher Administrative Officer Job Opportunities – Feminature Uganda
Feminature Uganda, a not-for-profit organization advocating for the rights and wellbeing of women, youth, and children in healthy environments, is seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Officer for their office in Arua, Uganda.

Job Summary: The Administrative Officer will be responsible for managing office supplies,
preparing reports, maintaining company databases, organizing filing systems, handling queries, updating policies, scheduling appointments, arranging travel and accommodations, and coordinating internal and external events.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage office supplies stock and place orders.
- Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets.
- Maintain and update company databases.
- Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents.
- Answer queries by employees and clients.
- Update office policies as needed.
- Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments.
- Book meeting rooms as required.
- Distribute and store correspondence.
- Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data.
- Arrange travel and accommodations.
- Schedule in-house and external events.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or a related field.
- At least two years of work experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator, or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of office procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
- Basic bookkeeping experience, especially in accounts payable/receivable.
- Fast typing skills (minimum 60 wpm) with high accuracy.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
