Job Summary:
As a Human Resource Assistant, you will support the HR department in providing general and routine HR support, ensuring efficient and effective functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage records, ensuring that originals of all documents are properly filed and personnel files are maintained for each staff.
  • Manage the HR database/software and update staff details.
  • Handle intern and volunteer placements in consultation with the HR Coordinator.
  • Maintain an up-to-date leave tracking system and manage time and attendance.
  • Provide HR administration support, managing correspondences and ensuring timely responses.
  • Handle staff exits, including following up on clearance and exit forms.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience in Human Resources and Administrative work, preferably with NGOs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and internet usage.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in major software programs.
