Job Summary: The Sales Ambassador will be tasked with the attainment of sales targets, product availability, customer service, product promotion and market development of a given sales area.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivery of daily and weekly volume targets within the allocated sales area.
- Implement the sales and retail plan as advised by the Territory Manager
- Identify customer needs, document customer complaints, and make follow up resolutions of the retailer complaints
- Identify and recruit new customers in the designated sales area.
- Participate in the development of forecasts and sales plan of the allocated sales area.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Hima Cement Sales Ambassador job should hold a Bachelors of Honors Degree in a Business, related course from a recognized University.
- Must have related work experience in a similar busy work environment for at least 1 year.
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s license; i.e. 2 years’ experience in driving and accident free.
- Knowledge of local languages (Luganda & Runyakira) will be an advantage as it will ease communication with retailers and traders
- Good Analytical skills (able to understand basic profit & loss calculations)
- Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator
- Self-driven, results oriented.
- Able to plan and prioritise
- Comfortable dealing with people and a good listener
- Reliable, tolerant & determined
- Able to work extended hours when required
- Good verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work anywhere within Uganda is added advantage
