The bank offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts, Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.
Job Summary: The Human Resource Manager will implement the HR policies, ensure staff compliance with the policies & procedures and provide HR support to the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement the HR policy and participate in the development of the HR budgets.
- Implement the performance management system and processes .
- Implement the company’s code of conduct.
- Draft necessary correspondences regarding all matters of HR nature.
- Ensure harmonious industrial relations amongst the staff body.
- Implement any structural changes on the organisational structure
- Participate in and implement the job evaluation processes.
- Ensure safety and maintenance of personal files for all employees.
- Implement the health and safety policy of the bank.
- Implement Employee reward and recognition programs.
- Manage the performance of staff under your supervision.
- Implement the exit policy.
- Implement the retention policy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Finance Trust Bank (FTB) Human Resource Manager job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or other Humanities from a reputable Institution.
- Postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management.
- A minimum of three years working experience in a similar position at a supervisory level, in a busy organisation.
- Working knowledge of all the relevant Labour laws
- Computer literacy is a requirement for the role.
- Good leadership skills.
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Empathy, patience and high tolerance for stress.
- Counseling skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to consistently meet short deadlines.
- High resilience, flexibility and capability of handling emergencies.
