Job Summary:
The Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for ensuring that plant instrumentation equipment is maintained efficiently, effectively, and at optimum cost, complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Operations: Ensure routine maintenance and calibration of plant instruments. Integrate, document, and commission new/revamped instruments.
- Maintenance and Optimization Operations: Execute weekly work orders and develop maintenance plans. Review and update organizational policies.
- Sourcing and Vendor Management: Identify potential service providers and manage vendor relationships.
- Contract Management and Monitoring: Review contract documents and monitor contract performance.
- Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Diploma in Systems/Control/Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of experience in electrical/instrumentation/control systems, preferably in a heavy industrial environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Knowledge of cement manufacturing process and electrical equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
