About Doctors with Africa CUAMM: Established in 1950, Doctors with Africa CUAMM is the foremost Italian NGO in healthcare, dedicated to improving health outcomes in Sub-Saharan Africa. The organization is active in 8 African countries, including Uganda, providing medical aid and expertise in health, nutrition, community engagement, and data management.
Internship Program Overview: This Youth Internship Program is designed to offer recent graduates valuable training and experience in various health-related fields. Targeting enthusiastic and dedicated individuals, the program is set in the Karamoja region of Uganda, offering an opportunity to contribute positively to the health and well-being of local communities. While this is an unpaid position, a monthly stipend is provided.
Job Summary: The intern will be responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services in the Karamoja region.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Must have graduated within the last 2 years from a recognized institution in radiography or a related field.
- A passion for improving health and community well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
