IOL ACSE Registration

Registration
Registration takes place throughout the year. However,

Enrolment before 15 November, write the first examination in April/May Enrolment before 15 April, write the first examination in August/September

The first semester starts on 1 December and ends at the end of April and the second semester is from 1 May to the end of November.
Please indicate on the registration form (from the list provided), which examination centres/venues you wish to write examinations at.  The first examination opportunity depends on when the registration is finalized. Make sure you select the subject choices by ticking the appropriate box on the application.
Admission requirements

Std 8 (Minimum of 5 subjects) + BETD (Junior Secondary Education/ Grades 5-7)

Or

Grade 10 / Junior Secondary certificate (English + 5 additional subjects) + BETD (Junior   Secondary Education)  / Grade 5-7 English with an E-symbol or better The subjects must total 24 points- A=8, B=7, C=6, D=5, E=4, F=3, G=2 Std 10 / Senior Secondary Certificate (minimum of 5 subjects) + BETD (Junior Secondary Education)  / Grade 5-7 or Grade 12 (English = additional subjects) + BETD (Junior Secondary Education / Grade 5-7) English with an E –symbol or better The 5 subjects must total 23 points- A=8, B=7, C=6, D=5, E=4, F=3, G=2 If a student passes a few (2,3 or 4) std 10 / Senior Secondary Certificate subjects and also wrote a few Grade 12, IGCSE / NSSC subjects, a combination of the 2 qualification will be accepted.

NOTE: English + the 4 additional subjects must Total 23 points
After registration is approved at IOL Head Office, you should receive your study materials within three (3) weeks. Please contact the Head Office if you haven’t received your materials within this time slot.  Compare the study materials you receive with the check list included in the parcel.
