   I m fail English with an E symbol and I have been repeating it through Namcol but still an e symbol.
   I would like to pursued my studies but due to low symbol in English I cannt further, im currently having 30 points in grade 12.
   how will I do this short course of English through your institution, and is the course full time, part time or distance?

   • Saarah IUM Offers both Part time and Full time courses in English. Although a D is recommended, an E is also eligible for admission with atleast 25 points. You therefore qualify to apply.

   • Leefa, unfortunately this is not possible IUM Namibia requires that At least 25 points in five subjects should have been attained at grade 12 or equivalent.

    • Abner, IUM currently doesn’t offer postgraduate diploma in education as a distance course. Being only part time and full time.

    • Kema, you are eligible to gain admission with 27 points, however, IUM Namibia requires atleast an E in English. You are therefore advised to upgrade your grade in English.

    • Kunoo, you will not necessarily be able to study ” any course ” if you pass…the preparatory course is to ensure that you meet the requirements necessary to enroll for a programme. There passing the preparatory course will simply ensure that you are qualified to join any main stream programme at IUM.

    • Jackson, the normal entry requirement to the university’s Preparatory programmes is a Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate (Ordinary or Higher or a combination of both) or equivalent qualification(s), provided that youve passed five subjects (including English at Grade D) normally in not more than three examination sittings with a minimum of 18 points on the IUM’s evaluation scale

    • Emma, you will have to be at least 25 years of age before being admitted on Mature age entry. You can upgrade your english by completing the IUM Foundation Program.
