JOB DETAILS:
Reports to: Nurse Incharge Art Clinic
Work Station: Soroti Regional Referral Hospital (4)
Job Purpose:
Providing Quality Nursing Services in the facility and the Community
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Administering treatment as prescribed.
• Carrying out nursing procedures.
• Carrying out procedures, keeping records and ensuring their safe custody.
• Participating in ward rounds.
• Receiving and registering patients.
• Adhering to aseptic procedures.
• Carrying out health education.
• Participating in primary health care.
• Adhering to ethical profession code of conduct.
Key Outputs:
• Quality nursing services
• Infection prevention and control measures implemented.
• Accountability for available equipment, supplies and drugs provided.
Qualification and Training:
• Must have Enrolled Nursing or Comprehensive Nursing Certificate from a recognized Institution.
• Candidates with additional training in HIV/Aids Care Treatment will have an added advantage.
• Must be enrolled with Uganda Nurses and Midwives’ Council and with a valid practicing license.
• Two (2) working experience with HIV/Aids Clinic
