List of Engineering Universities in Uganda

Below is a list of the best engineering schools and engineering courses in Uganda according to rank

Even though Makerere University gave Uganda its first hybrid car, Kyambogo University was voted the best Engineering University in Uganda according to a new ranking. The ranking considered course content of the various engineering courses, research projects carried out by the students during the course of their study and also considered employability of the students upon graduation. Kyambogo University was ranked the top engineering University in Uganda averaging a score of at least 4/5 for every indicator.

Over the years, Kyambogo has continued to lead when it comes to Engineering and Education. Kichwamba lost its position to Ndejje while Busitema University maintained its fifth position. The organization that carried out the rankings also considered the best medical schools in Uganda where Makerere University topped the list.
