Job Summary:
The Manager, Relationship, Chinese Sector will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Chinese Business client accounts. This includes providing banking advice, relationship support, ensuring excellent service, integrating all Standard Bank products and services, meeting client needs, achieving revenue targets, retaining existing business, and acquiring new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing an assigned portfolio of Chinese Business client accounts.
  • Providing banking advice and relationship support to ensure excellent service.
  • Integrating Standard Bank’s products and services to meet client needs.
  • Achieving defined revenue targets through retention of existing business and acquisition of new business.
  • Maximizing the bank’s profitability by managing client accounts effectively.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • First Degree in a Business-Related Course.
  • 2-5 years of experience in customer service and Relationship Management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Experience in dealing with Chinese customers and businesses.
  • Client-facing banking experience with the ability to relate to customers at all levels.
  • Significant product knowledge, including specialized products and financial structures.
  • Experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications, with an understanding of operational, administrative, risk, and compliance standards.
  • High standards of service and problem resolution.
