Marjorie Dean Financial Journalism Foundation Studentships:
Every year the Trustees plan to make awards available to students wishing to obtain financial assistance in pursuing a postgraduate course in economics or a similar subject.
Applications are accepted only in the month of March each year.
The Foundation offers one or two studentships, worth roughly £10,000 each, to students who have been accepted to do a masters degree in Economics or Finance at a top British university.
Preference will be given to applicants who can write well and who will produce a piece of research (probably based on their dissertation) that is suitable for publication.
People Eligible for Awards:
- Students who have been accepted on a postgraduatecourse in economics or a similar subject.
- People who are unemployed or have been made redundant, and who wish to obtain vocational training in financial journalism.
- Applicants are not confined to people living in the United Kingdom, and there are no restrictions regarding age, sex, etc.Candidates should send a CV, a proposed research topic and proof of entry to a masters degree programme.
