About US:
Sebei Diocese Community Development and Empowerment (SD-CODE) received funding from DGF to undertake activities that are focused on mobilizing citizens and enabling them to air their voices to attract the attention of decision and policy makers at both sub-national and national levels.
Job Summary: The project officer will be tasked with leading in project implementation while supporting planning and budgeting in consultation with the line manager. Key duties for this position are; work closely with the M&E officer, District Stakeholders, Communities and CSO’s in the implementation of project activities; prepare work plans, activity and monthly reports; Undertake community advocacy, mobilization, monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and perform any other duties assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies and any other relevant qualification.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook
- Flexibility with the ability to cope with stressful situations
- Ability to travel within rural areas with challenging road networks
- The candidate should: Others include: Be conversant with local dialect (Kiswahili, English and Kupsabiny)
