Job Summary:

The Cost Control Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial efficiency and effectiveness of our projects. This position involves a range of responsibilities from bidding process management to contract finalization, and financial tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the commercial aspects of project bidding, including document preparation, bidder evaluation, and negotiation.
  2. Conduct quantity surveys, review subcontractor payment submissions, and prepare payment certificates.
  3. Forecast invoicing, manage cash flow, and maintain payment ledgers.
  4. Collect and analyze market price information.
  5. Participate in commercial meetings and liaise with relevant parties.
  6. Engage in critical procurement and subcontract evaluations and negotiations, focusing on cost, cashflow, and schedule adherence.
  7. Monitor and control project budgets to ensure cost-effective project execution.
  8. Assist the Commercial Manager in various commercial tasks.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in project bidding, evaluation, invoicing, and payment processes.
  • Degree in Engineering Management, Engineering Cost Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and certifications.
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
