About US:

African Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making organization with the main aim of protecting and seeking durable solutions for Refugees and IDPs in Africa in partnership with UNHCR the UN refugee agency.

Job Summary: The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with the Medical Supply chain Manager to ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Project guidelines.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • The Pharmacy Technician must hold a University Degree in Pharmacy or any other related field
  • At least three years of experience is required
  • Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spread sheet ana database packages
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of honesty and Integrity
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced computer skills in Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint, presentation, creating forms, organ charts, mail merges, labels, name tags, charts and graphs, pivot tables
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Willingness to work in any part of the country
