Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Program Officer – Data Analyst & Communication, responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to provide actionable insights and communicate these findings effectively to various stakeholders, including farmers, SMEs, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Processing: Handle collection, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets related to agriculture, ensuring data integrity.
- Database Management: Review and enhance databases, manage data security, and implement ETL processes.
- Problem Solving: Provide data-driven insights to support business needs and recommend optimization strategies.
- Communication: Translate technical findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop dashboards and reports, utilizing visualization tools for easy data interpretation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to align data analysis results with practical applications.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Degree in Data Science, Actuarial Studies, Business Analysis, Statistics, Agriculture Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the agricultural sector.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView/Qlik Serve) and statistical analysis software.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Proactive learner with an analytical mindset and attention to detail.
