The American Refugee Committee (ARC International) is an International nonprofit, nonsectarian organization that provides humanitarian assistance and training to millions of beneficiaries around the world.

Job Summary:   The Project Manager GSMA will coordinate the implementation of GSMA grant that focuses on providing improved energy access equipment (solar light/charging and fuel efficient cook stoves) to refugees in BidiBidi. S/he will closely work with key project stakeholders to ensure that project plans are effectively implemented, monitored and progress reports shared.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the American Refugee Committee (ARC International) Project Manager GSMA job must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Community or Rural Development and business related field.
  • A minimum of three years of working experience in livelihood programming, specific experience in micro enterprise development.
  • Experience in market oriented livelihood promotion and other innovative approaches to humanitarian livelihood service delivery.
  • Experience in project planning, implementation and reporting as well as tracking relevant livelihood promotion indicators in real time.
  • Experience in promoting clean access to energy that can promote/protect environmental attacks by community.
  • Experience in working in a refugee settlement and good working relationship build with local communities and groups.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English language.
  • High level of analytical, written and verbal skill, high level of integrity and accountability.
