Job Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst will be instrumental in shaping the project management and business analytics functions. This role involves establishing effective frameworks, processes, and ensuring resource efficiency. The position requires a blend of business analysis, planning, project management, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business and account level reports combining financial and operational data.
- Create and regularly update dashboards for performance monitoring.
- Analyze data trends to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Plan for future resource needs based on workload and development pipeline.
- Implement project success analytics, including work estimation and profit/loss analysis.
- Oversee the project management life cycle for various project types.
- Drive project management development and optimization.
- Manage and report on business initiatives to executive leadership.
- Create performance-based, data-driven incentive systems.
- Develop a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and ensure process documentation.
- Lead business automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales for project scoping and manage pilot projects.
- Analyze scoping data for insights and collaborate with Account Managers for resource placement.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business and technology.
- Five years of project management experience in a technical environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SQL.
- Understanding of financial principles and experience in financial data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in business presentations, managing systems implementations, and delivering professional services.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix management environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to break down complex data into simple reports.
