About the Role:
The Senior Treasury Sales Officer will be responsible for customer management, ensuring compliance with banks and local regulations, and handling complex treasury transactions. The role involves developing marketing plans, expanding the Treasury franchise, cross-selling Ecobank products, and maintaining high standards of compliance and regulatory adherence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a clear and coherent marketing plan.
- Aggressive client engagement across existing and potential customers.
- Monitoring business performance and implementing measures to meet targets.
- Collaborating with Corporate/Domestic Banking to expand the Treasury franchise.
- Ensuring efficient service to clients, including rate quotations and market insights.
- Ensuring adherence to compliance, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Maintaining relationships with regulators and staying updated on business changes.
- Making informed decisions on FX and Money Rate Management.
- Providing quality service and inputs to clients and other business units.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Relevant qualifications in finance, banking, or a related field.
- Proven experience in treasury sales, financial markets, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of FX, Money Market rates, and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- High standards of professional conduct and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
