Job Summary:
The Trade Finance Officer will handle customer instructions for various trade products, ensuring timely and accurate execution. This role involves managing client requests, monitoring accounts, maintaining MIS reports, cross-selling, and ensuring compliance with bank policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage client requests for trade finance products such as Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Import Loans, IBCs, and Certificate Discounting.
- Monitor accounts for inflows related to trade finance products.
- Maintain and share MIS reports with Relationship Managers.
- Advise customers on document collection.
- Address customer queries regarding trade finance products and services.
- Cross-sell banking products.
- Ensure safe custody of customer documents.
- Review income collection accounts to prevent income leakages.
- Collect service performance data for Relationship Managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Marketing, or a related field.
- Professional or post-graduate qualifications in Finance, Marketing, or related fields are advantageous.
- At least five years of experience in Financial Business Development, with exposure to Operations.
- Proven track record in Direct Selling, Sales Management, and Relationship Management.
- Knowledge of the Bank’s business model, strategy, products, and services.
- Understanding of industrial and national economic trends.
