Accommodation:
All first year students are required to live on campus unless they are residing in Iringa with family members. But accommodation space on campus is limited. If you are interested staying on campus, arrive on the opening date. Accommodation is given prior to payment of accommodation fee. Off campus accommodation is available from local land lord. Students who attend orientation programme are assisted to acquire off campus residence. Bring the following items with you: beddings (blankets, bed sheet, and mosquito net) and any other necessary for your own use.
Foreign Students:
Before coming to Tanzania, the foreign students must make sure that they have all the necessary travelling documents: valid passport, visas and resident/study permits. These documents must be acquired from the relevant officials before leaving the country of origin to avoid any problems when entering Tanzania.
NB: The foreign student is required to present copies of all the immigration documents to the Dean of Students upon reporting at the University
