   • Racheal, a bachelors degree in medicine or nursing costs N$ 25,910 ( Year 1 ), N$ 28,550 ( Year 2 ), N$ 31, 190 ( Year 2 ) and N$ 33, 810 ( Final Year ). These figures reflect the 2016 tuition fees as the tuition fees for 2017 is still being processed.

   • Bachelor in Geology is currently not offered as a distance learning program

   My son is interested in studying a sports related course, especially football. I therefore request for any information from your institution such that if possible he enrolls for 2017 academic year. Kindly furnish me with the tuitions as well.

    Am a kambimbi collins,I submitted all the required documents for my sister who wants to study environmental biology. According to the unam requirements she is eligible to study the course but I have not received anything from them upto now.

    • Collins, it should be noted that meeting the requirements does not guarantee admission, UNAM reserves the right to deny admission. Only shortlisted applicants are contacted

I’m Alfeus Shipopyeni a graduate student at Namibian institute of bankers in advanced diploma in banking finance and credit NQF level 7 but I want to continue my education at Unam at the bachelor of education, therefore I want to ask if it’s possible for me to register on late registration

    • Alfeus, the time allocated for late registration has passed. You can submit applications within the second quarter of 2017. That is June, where applications reopen.

    • Steve, UNAM accepts applications for full time and part time applications within the month of August each year. Applications may also begin within the month of June.

    • BESA, the University of Namibia accepts applications within the month of June. Application forms are made available within this period.

17. Hi I’m a 21 years of age Namibian . I had to upgrade my results last year. But I did not apply. Is it possible that I can maybe apply or get placed in one of the courses. Specifically nursing?

    • Yes Hertha, You can apply during UNAMs next intake within the second quarter of this year.

18. Am in Zimbabwe. my child just completed Cambridge A Levels and came out with 2points in 2 subjects ie. geography and Design & Technology. l just want to find out if he qualifies for a degree in the engineering field and what he needs to do.

    • Faith, UNAM requires cumulative point of 25 and at least grade c in English. If his grades fall this figure, then he would have to upgrade and reapply. You may visit UNAM Admission Requirements Page for details

    • You can alternatively decide to read any bachelor of science related course, since they generally prove to be less competitive. however you are eligible to apply for medicine.
