Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba (UPIK) was established by the Statutory instrument No. 31 of 2011: The Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Acts, 2006 (Establishment of Uganda Petroleum Institute, Kigumba) in July, 2011. The mandate of UPIK is to provide a world-class education in geosciences and petroleum engineering in order to support and advance the petroleum and energy sectors in Uganda, East Africa and beyond.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Examine and diagnose students and staff health conditions.
- Make referral eases to appropriate medical institutions.
- Maintain proper records of patients and administered drugs
- Other health education to students and stall.
- Manage and account for allocated resources
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants must be holders of Diploma in Clinical medicine and Community Health obtained from a recognised training institution
- A minimum of two years relevant working experience
- Must be registered with and licensed by the Allied Health Profession Council
- Age: Below 40 years
