Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tasked with capturing metadata in respect of the paper copy into a GIS geothermal database;
- Integrating thematic data so as to produce geothermal conceptual models;
- Producing updated maps of data generated from the field surveys;
- Reviewing the status of geothermal licenses in order to inform decision making;
- Ensuring that all captured data are properly archived and updated;
- Carrying out capacity building on the best available GIS techniques;
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Geosciences, or Geology, or Surveying, or Geological Resource Management from a recognized University.
- Ethics and integrity; interpersonal, communication and computer skills; ability to adapt to multi cultural settings; effective organizational and planning skills; time management skills; technical skills; report writing skills; negotiation skills; capacity for teamwork; innovation and concern for results, quality and standards.
- Age: Below 21 years
