On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Sales Manager Therapeutics to work in Kampala Uganda.

 

Job Summary:  The Sales Manager Therapeutics will be tasked with the development of sales strategy for Uganda and all East Africa. The incumbent will provide assistance in all important steps for the initial establishment of the company. The jobholder will be also be tasked with the management of the future sales team

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Development of go to market strategy
  • Identification and management of suitable sales channels
  • Development and implementation of sales plan for each product
  • Development and implementation of pricing strategy for each product
  • Gathering information, conducting research and analysis to evaluate customer needs and market trends to improve sales performance
  • Management of product positioning and branding, primary packaging
  • Preparation of sales forecast for each product
  • Regular reporting to management
  • Achieving agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Maintaining customer relationships, meeting with clients
  • Monitoring of competitor activities
  • Supporting the process of setting-up the local production / company
  • Representation at trade shows
  • Follow up with debt collection from customers

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing and/or Business Administration
  • Previous experience as Sales Representative or Sales Manager
  • Five years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close

 

Competencies, abilities, and knowledge:

  • Knowledge in field of business administration, sales planning
  • Strong communication skills with all stakeholders (verbal and written)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Treats people with respect
  • Works with integrity and respects ethical aspects
  • Follows policies and procedures
  • Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time
  • Keeps commitments
  • Is self-motivated, working with passion
