Job Summary:
The Assistant Relationship Manager will focus on executing sales of SME assets, liabilities, and other products. The role involves customer interaction, handling queries, facilitating service delivery, and playing a key role in the sales and customer service processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales of SME assets, liabilities, and other product types.
  • Address customer queries and requests, and provide information on bank products.
  • Facilitate service delivery to customers.
  • Handle the establishment of new and variation of existing account relationships, focusing on SME accounts.
  • Sell bank products to new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
  • Deal with initial stages of credit matters and provide relevant information on the bank’s products and services.
  • Engage in deposit mobilization for the bank.
  • Conduct sales calls and gather market intelligence.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints.
  • Handle initial interviews for customers seeking financial assistance and ensure relevant supporting documents are obtained.
  • Perform various banking and sales-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • University degree in a relevant business discipline.
  • Professional qualification in General Banking is an added advantage.
  • At least two years of experience in sales and services, with a focus on SME customers.
  • Knowledgeable in banking products and services.
  • Understanding of digital financial services and their relevance to customers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Innovative and adaptable in a rapidly changing business environment.
