Job Summary:
Norvik Enterprises Limited seeks a qualified IT Officer responsible for maintaining the computing environment, network requirements, system upgrades, and network performance monitoring.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support for computer and printer hardware, CCTV, and all applications used by Norvik Enterprises Ltd.
- Troubleshoot and maintain server systems (Linux and Microsoft), LAN, and WAN solutions.
- Enforce internal computer systems security.
- Administer Domain controller, Active directory, Firewalls, and routers.
- Implement and maintain up-to-date backups for server and applications.
- Test and implement software patches, including third-party applications.
- Develop, test, and review disaster recovery plans for ICT systems and infrastructure.
- Advise on procurement of Software, Hardware, and other ICT accessories.
- Maintain documentation of all ICT systems and infrastructure.
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Manage client-based computer operating systems.
- Monitor systems and respond to security or usability concerns.
- Upgrade systems for enhanced functionality and security.
- Review application logs and ensure data confidentiality.
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Science Computing, or a related field.
- At least one year of related work experience.
- Knowledge of CCTV management, Firewalls, Software, Hardware, and Networking Protocols.
- Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
