We recognized that there were so many farmers in communities who had the potential to offer high-quality products, but no way to scale or market them. We armed them with the necessary education and the tools, so they could realize their full potential and their vision.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and coordinates the company’s quality assurance programmes in order to achieve the set quality standards.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve the company’s food safety management system.
- Ensure that the SOPs and policies are documented and implemented.
- Train staff on quality processes related matters while promoting quality policies.
- Quality certify all goods that are ready for shipment to avoid rejections by the clients.
- Compile analytical reports and certificates for raw material and finished goods.
- Conduct internal quality audits.
- Implement good quality/ / manufacturing practices are being followed.
- Ensure that all measurement equipment and instruments are well maintained and calibrated
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a BSc in Industrial Chemistry, food science
- At least five to seven years of experience in agricultural produce or Food and Beverage Industry
