Mbarara University | MUST Team wins EU- Erasmus+ Grant
Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), represented by Assoc. Prof. Charles Tushabomwe-Kazooba (Deputy Vice Chancellor, F&A), Naggayi Barbara Rita, Ntaro Moses and Hannington J. Odongo, is a part of a consortium that has won a Euros 845,000 grant frin the EU- Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher Education [CBHE], Capacity Building in Sustainability and Environmental Management (CAPSEM).
CAPSEM is the result of collective motivation to expand long-term sustainability and environmnetal Management Capacity and contribute to sustainable development. The 2015 year was a landmark for global sustainability and climate action with international frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Paris Agreement. Through uts Capacity Building activities, CAPSEM will nature and develop the practical knowledge needed to contribute directly to these goals and Higher Educations [HEIs} to work collaboratively with industry and society.
