Job Summary: The Relationship Manager (Corporate) will attract corporate business and provide effective business banking services to customers to ensure revenue growth of the bank in line with set targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to the implementation of the Branch business strategy and market plans in order to accelerate business growth and profitability.
- Grow deposit level of customers within the Institutional and SME target markets in the assigned portfolio as a way of growing share wallet
- Drive the selling of all Business Banking, Mortgage and Term Finance products in order to grow liabilities, assets and revenues in accordance with established targets.
- Formulate customer relationship practices in order to achieve the desired customer service levels, customer retention and occurrence of delinquent loans.
- Monitor the trends in client profitability and movement of their liabilities and assets draw up recommendations/remedies as appropriate.
- Effectively manage customer relationships to ensure that delinquency in assets portfolio is kept within acceptable limits.
- Work closely with the credit to initiate recovery actions for loans in default and written off loans in line with the credit policy guidelines and procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Housing Finance Bank Relationship Manager (Corporate) job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, economics or any other related field from a recognized university.
- Possession of a post-graduate qualifications / Professional Course in relevant field would be an added advantage.
- Five years of progressive experience in with an established and demonstrable track record in the field of relationship management in a Commercial Bank.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services Industry and knowledge of various bank products.
- Ability to structure Trade finance and leasing solutions for business customers
- Awareness of Risks in the banking industry
