Job Title: Procurement Assistants (2 Fresher Jobs)

Job Summary: The Procurement Assistants will mainly develop, Lead and execute procurement strategies as well as track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Craft negotiations strategies and close deals with optimal terms
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Vendor management
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Ensure procurement data management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain Management, Logistics or in Business Administration (Majoring in procurement).
- Knowledge of key purchasing processes and purchasing domain.
- CIPS is an added advantage
- At least two year of working experience in a similar position.(NGO work experience will be an added advantage)
- Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spread sheet and database packages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of honesty and Integrity
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced computer skills in Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentation, Creating forms, org charts, mail merges, labels, name tags, charts and graphs, pivot tables, presentations with animation and sound .
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to work in any part of the country
