We exist to advocate for the rights of Persons with Disabilities in a uniied voice for improved livelihoods.
Job Summary: The Programme Manager, Policy Advocacy will take overall responsibility for developing and managing the delivery of an evidence based Advocacy strategy across NUDIPU and establish strong partnership or collaboration with institutions and stakeholders to ensure inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in policy, programmes and budgets..
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Spearhead policy and advocacy initiatives on disability and development.
- Conduct research in public policy to influence change at various levels.
- Carry out analysis of laws, policies and programmes for disability Inclusion
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s degree in public policy, human rights or any relevant field
- Honour’s degree in political science, international relations or development communication
- Strong experience in leading and managing projects.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
