The National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda ( NUDIPU ) is an umbrella organization promoting the rights of Persons with disabilities in Uganda with the vision of having “A Just and Fair Society where Persons with Disabilities live a Prosperous and Dignified Life”.
We exist to advocate for the rights of Persons with Disabilities in a uniied voice for improved livelihoods.
Job Summary: The Manager, Membership Development and Servicing will spearhead the membership development and servicing of NUDIPU members.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit and nurture new members according to the membership development Plan, guidelines and strategy.
- Develop and implement membership development strategy
- Support coordination of all NUDIPU Members and maintain regular communication as required.
- Maintain an up to-date and comprehensive database of all members including their profies and mailing lists.
- Undertake periodic assessments of member organization’s capacities and capacity needs and devise strategies to respond to their needs in conjunction with other programme team members.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Development Studies, Social Work and Social Administration, Social Sciences and other related humanities.
- Master’s or a related advanced degree in international development, organisational development or public management.
- Five years of related experience in managing client relationship and membership organisations or networks
