Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa and Eastern Europe.
Job Summary: The ICT Coordinator will support the monitoring and maintenance of computer systems (network, software, and/or hardware) and the supervision of IT contracted services in line with IT standards and the project objectives. This position will support the monitoring and maintenance of computer systems (network, software, and/or hardware) and the supervision of IT contracted services in line with IT standards and the project objectives. S/he will also design and develop programs that will improve project delivery, monitoring, and reporting.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Master’s degree in Information Systems (IS), Information Technology (IT), or related degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of national public health and Health Information systems (DHIS2, OPENMRS, KP TRACKER, OVC TRACKER).
- Proven experience in IT systems development.
- Proven experience in systems analysis and design.
