Job Summary:
The Assistant Facilities Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining Post real property assets. The position includes program management and administrative support, requiring knowledge of USG standards and policies.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Minimum of two years of university studies.
- Experience: At least four years in maintenance, construction, or project management, involving customer engagement and resource management.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Department of State, Foreign Service organization and policies, mechanical and electrical codes, and trade practices.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in specialized software (GMMS), database management, Microsoft suites.
- Language: English fluency (Level 4) is mandatory and may be tested.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the maintenance of real property assets.
- Providing program management and administrative support.
- Coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects.
