Law School Scholarships for Kenya: Riara Law School Katiba Scholarship.

Riara Law School (RLS) is committed to training a new class of Kenyan constitutional lawyers.

To this end, we are pleased to announce that RLS will be awarding two ‘Katiba Scholarships’ to qualified and deserving individuals interested in pursuing a law degree at RLS.

The Katiba scholarships will cover the students’ tuition fees for the duration of the 4-year RLS Law Degree.

A person is eligible to apply for the Katiba scholarship if they are between the age of 18 and 25, and have met the requirements for admission to RLS.

We are looking for individuals that can demonstrate academic excellence, creativity, integrity of character and leadership skills.

If you are interested in becoming a Katiba Scholar, write a 2500 word essay on your general interests and future goals.

In particular, we are interested ¡n finding out how you would use your law degree to contribute towards the proper implementation of the Constitution of Kenya.

The essays shall be reviewed and ranked by a diversely comprised panel of judges.

Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for an onsite interview at RLS, where they shall be expected to demonstrate their suitability for the scholarship.

The two Katiba Scholars shall be announced following an engaging public lecture to be held in celebration of Mashujaa day.
